Bourgogne Pinot Noir Vieille Vigne 2022

Jean-Marie Fourrier

Darker in colour than one usually expects from Fourrier, with noticeably riper fruit. It does not lose its Pinot character, but the extra ripeness pushes the wine slightly out of balance. The texture is pleasant, though not especially structured. Even so, this remains a beautiful example of Bourgogne Rouge, and one I would happily revisit at any time. The finish is nice at this stage, leaving a pleasant aftertaste.
