La Lune 2021

Ferme de la Sansonnière

08 February, 2026

A classic, dry Chenin built around structure rather than perfume: ripe extract + firm acidity + a fine phenolic grip that gives the wine shape and control. It’s concentrated but never heavy, with a layered, tactile mouthfeel (more “chalky/skin-contact-like tension” than softness), and it holds its line through the mid-palate. The finish is long, clean, and steady, with freshness and gentle bitterness working as a frame rather than a distraction.

From Mark & Martial Angeli, it’s 100% Chenin Blanc, typically released as Vin de France, and commonly raised about a year in barrel, which supports the wine’s texture without turning it into an “oaky” style.
