A signature white with beautiful balance, carrying its weight with ease. There is real intensity and backbone here, but also freshness, which keeps the wine composed and unforced. The texture is a clear strength, broad and layered without becoming heavy, and it feels like a wine handled with precision from harvest to press. Where it falls a little short for me is authenticity, because tasted blind I would not place it straight away in Burgundy. That makes sense given the blend: in 2020, it included 20% Pinot Blanc alongside 80% Chardonnay, which gives the wine a slightly different frame while still keeping it beautiful and complete through a long, steady finish.
