Fortunate enough to taste this wine again within two months, I was struck by how much it had changed. The oak and lactic notes that were much more present before have now settled, and the wine feels far more together. The balance is clearly better, the texture remains outstanding for Aligoté, and the identity is unmistakable. The finish lingers well, with enough complexity to keep the wine engaging.
